Girl Power: Gasoline Engine Basics

Would it not be great to go out on your boat with a little extra piece of mind? After all, your boat is not a car and you cannot just pull over on the side of the road.  This seminar will include trouble shooting basics, service recommendations and overall, how your engine works. We will also discuss extra parts and tools you should keep on-board as well as routine check ups.

Born and raised in the marine industry, Yasmin has a lifetime of experience. Working along side her father, she wanted to become more involved with boats and engines which is why she started her apprenticeship at the age of 16.  70% of the world is covered with water, and when Yasmin isn’t busy working on boats she’s out enjoying them. Whether it is cruising the lake, wake boarding, sailing or fishing, her passion lives deep.  As a certified marine technician, Yasmin wants to help shape the leaders of tomorrow. She volunteers as a mentor with Skills Ontario discussing the benefits of being a trades member.
