Enercare Centre, Salon 107

Seminar Details

If you understand the basics of weather and are looking forward to understanding more about weather maps and how to use them, this presentation is for you. I will show you where you can access these maps and how best to interpret the data on them. Typical weather charts are in 4 panels; Surface, 500mb, 700mb and thickness/precipitation. Each one of these panels can be useful for different aspects of your weather planning. I will show you what you can decipher from each. I will also touch on other weather maps that we create for mariners. This presentation will allow for 10-15 minutes at the end to discuss and understand user requirements.
