Eric Holden is Canada’s premier ocean yachtsman. Eric is the Skipper of Open 60 O Canada, and is currently campaigning for the 2016 Vendee Globe — a solo, non-stop, round the world race. With a degree in meteorology and one round the world race under his belt, Eric is skilled tactician and offshore racer ready to take on the ultimate challenge. As the winning skipper in the Clipper Round the World Race, Eric became the first Canadian skipper to win a round the world race. Eric Holden has competed and placed in the top international races including the Sydney-Hobart race, the Fastnet race, the Newport-Bermuda, and many more.
