Learn how to save time, money and enhance your boating experience by mastering a few simple knots. In this entertaining session, Barry takes a light-hearted look at ropes, lines, and knots with a focus on basic knot tying that every boater should know. While various lines, knots, and ropes managed every conceivable task on the sailing ships of yesteryear, we don’t find as many uses aboard today’s modern powerboats. Yet, knowledge and mastery of just a few simple knots can make a more competent, confident, and secure boater. We all learn by doing, so expect to “learn the ropes” by being hands-on during this enjoyable session. In conjunction with The Rigging Shop.
