This is a workshop to help you understand the maintenance that is due on your engine. There are lists to help you remember important maintenance inspections, how to change the oil, and other good handouts to take back to your boat. Learn from this workshop how easy it is to take care of the vital workings of your boat's engine from the perspective of a woman who loves to be a mechanic on her boat! Pam has photos, and lists, and personal experiences taking care of her important engine. This workshop will help make being your own mechanic useful and fun. www.pamwall.com

About Pam Wall

Pam Wall's honeymoon in 1972 was crossing the Atlantic on a 30 foot timber sloop. Her first ocean passage was happily spent sailing with no radios, no electronic navigation equipment, and a black bucket for a toilet. Once home sailing back across the Atlantic, Pam and her husband, Andy, built their Freya 39 sloop. After sailing their two small children around the world on KANDARIK, Pam worked at West Marine in Fort Lauderdale for 20 years. Pam and Andy sailed their boat across the Atlantic three times after returning home from their circumnavigation. Pam helps cruisers have the right equipment for their boats, and is a source for information on the cruising lifestyle, routes and sailing information, and helping encourage new cruisers.
