Online Contests

These rules govern the online contests at the 2009 Toronto International Boat Show.

The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) and The Toronto International Boat Show respects your privacy. Personal information provided to us on this ballot is solely for use by the National Marine Manufacturers Association as producers of the Toronto International Boat Show (TIBS). The information will not be sold or traded either now or in the future to any company, association or group.

Limit of one (1) entry per person. No purchase necessary. Open to persons 18 years of age or older. Employee, contractors, suppliers and exhibitors of TIBS and their immediate families, and anyone living with any employee, of the Contest Sponsors or their corporate affiliates, advertising or promotional agencies or affiliates, is ineligible to enter and win.

The contest period is October 1, 2008 to January 18, 2009. The contest sponsors are the Toronto International Boat Show, The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA).

On January 2nd (package #2 & 3) and on January 18th (package #1) a random draw will take place from all eligible entries received on or before the Contest deadline of January 2nd and January 18th EST. The winners for package #1 & 2 will be contacted by telephone and the winners of the show tickets in package #3 will be contacted by email.

By entering this Contest, entrants consent to the collection, use and disclosure of their personal information contained in their official entry form for the purposes of running this Contest. We will use personal information to administer the Contest, including contacting, announcing and promoting the prize winner.

The sponsors may, in their sole discretion prohibit any person from entering any contest whom they believe to be abusing the Contest Rules. Such abuse includes entering false information and entering more than once per person.

This contest is governed by and subject to all applicable federal provincial and municipal laws and regulations and is void where prohibited. This Contest is governed by the laws of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein. By participating in this Contest, entrants agree to be bound by these Contest Rules and the decisions of the Judges in awarding the prizes, which decision shall be final and binding upon all entrants. Failure to comply with these Contest Rules may void the entrant’s rights to any Prize. Interpretation of these Contest Rules by the Contest Sponsors shall be final and binding.
